Cheese Einkorn Sourdough loaves are aromatic and wonderfully cheesy breads.
As all of our wheat based sourdoughs, Cheese Einkorn loaves are fermented with our rye/spelt/wheat starter with no addition of commercial yeast. For this loaf we use bread flour, einkorn flour, and Dubliner cheese. Einkorn is one of the ancient unhybridized wheat grains, easier to digest to some. The bread with some einkorn in it has almost creamy texture, it has quite a mellow flavor. In our Cheese Einkorn Sourdough Dubliner cheese is the star though, you’ll smell it and you’ll taste it. We shred the cheese so it has become part of the dough and is distributed throughout the loaf.
