Description

Farmer’s Cheese Cake with Plums or Rhubarb is a very traditional dessert that every kid in Estonia knew, and probably still knows. Often made just from farmer’s cheese, eggs, sour cream, and seasonal fresh fruit and/or dried fruit, “kohupiimavorm” was served with fruit compote or sour cream in every daycare center and school. This classic dessert has gotten a bit more cake-like in our hands thanks to organic buckwheat flour (gluten free), but it is still super moist and tastes just as our baker remembers from childhood in Estonia. If we can brag a bit, it does tastes a bit better than dessert served at school lunch.

Our Gluten Free Farmer’s Cheese Cake is made with seasonal fruits; in the spring we love it with Rhubarb! This treat can really be enjoyed throughout the day. Have it for breakfast, enjoy as a midday snack, or a dessert to finish up nice meal.

Store in fridge for up to 5 days. Freezes well.
