Soft Gingerbread with Sour Cherry Jam is all dressed up with Cream Cheese Frosting this holiday season. It’s a perfect cake to celebrate cool winter weather and holidays.
Soft Gingerbread is already known to our farmer’s market customers. It’s one of our sweeter cakes, but still not overly sweet. Homemade caramelly syrup and sour cream being two of it’s “secret” ingredients, one adding depth to the sweetness and another providing balance with slight tang. Classic gingerbread flavor is built with our own spice mix and paired with tangy jam, warming you up and truly celebrating winter holiday season. As a Christmas Special, we will layer and top the Soft Gingerbread Cake with not only with Sour Cherry Jam, but also with Rum & Apricot flavored mildly sweet Cream Cheese Frosting (sorry, no photo of the frosted cake). Can’t get much more festive then that!
