Spelt Cake with Rhubarb and Blood Orange is one of our baker’s favorite. It’s a moist and nutty and with complex flavor; rhubarb, blood oranges (when in season), spelt flour* and almond flour all important contributors. Spelt is a wonderfully nutty tasting ancient wheat variety that is often tolerated by people who are sensitive to modern wheat. We only use fresh rhubarb in our cakes, which sadly makes this treat limited to rhubarb season. *organic.
Available for local pickup only. Store in the fridge for 5 days. Freezes well.
