This mildly sweet pound cake with little tart and bittersweet (cranberries and dark chocolate) surprises is made with organic whole grain spelt flour. We love the nutty flavor of spelt which bakes in harmony with both sweet and tart. This cake is best enjoyed with tea or coffee.
To enjoy the cake withing couple of days, keep it at room temperature; for extended shelf life keep it in refrigerator. Spelt Banana Pound Cake freezes very well as well.
