Hazelnut Frangipane Tart is a multilayer yumminess. Nutty cookie-like hazelnut & oat crust is topped with hazelnut frangipane that is lightened up with cream cheese and lingonberry jam.

Traditional frangipane is an almond/butter/eggs/sugar filling used across many pastry products, but we’ve given it a bit of an Estonian twist with hazelnut and lingonberry, another common wild berry in the country. Yes, just like lingonberries, hazelnuts grow wild in Estonia, but they give such an unreliable yield that they is considered delicacy. Tart is finished with a layer bittersweet chocolate ganache.
