I grew up eating rye bread and have missed it. I also love sourdough but have not been able to eat that either as I have a wheat sensitivity – not gluten. I was so excited to find a rye sourdough without wheat!! And it did not disappoint! This bread is amazing. You can slice it incredibly thin and it does not fall apart. It is moist and the crumb has a nice crust. It toasts very well too. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

When I ordered this bread I thought it was overpriced. However, I began to feel differently when I hefted the heavy package I received. You get what you pay for–lots of densely-packed nutrition. Also it is easy to cut and presents a mellow sourdough taste.

Living abroad as a child, my family got use to the amazing variety of real bread that Europeans eat daily. Coming back to the states was a shock to the system when presented with things called Wonder Bread, seemingly made out of library paste. It has been extremely difficult to find 100% rye sour dough bread locally. EstoEtno’s bread’s are the best.

Really enjoyed this sourdough bread. Different than anything I have found around town. Makes a great piece of toast for morning breakfast! I can’t wait to try some of EstoEtno’s sweet baked goods. Excited to have discovered this local bakery and plan on being a ‘regular.’

I have a wheat allergy and have been trying for years to find a bread I could eat that I also liked and EstoEtno’s rye sourdough is the undisputed champion. Even my wheat tolerant family loves it and loves the smell coming from the toaster.

This is our third order from EstoEtno and the Finnish 100% Rye Sourdought Bread is consistently great. In fact it’s gone in 3 days or so!. It has a fresh, deep taste that goes well with any type of meal or snack be it for a dip or a hearty sandwich filled with goodies. Importantly, unlike most supermarket breads, it leaves you feeling full for a good amount of time. We highly recommend trying this creation from Tiina and give it 5 stars!

Delicious, you can really taste the tangy natural fermentation and the earthy rye. Impossible to find this quality of a carefully handmade product elsewhere.
